Madison Bagel Café is a family owned and operated business located in Madison, NJ. Our unique bagel recipe, which goes back more than 50 years, produces the awesome fresh-baked bagels our customers love. To achieve the authentic Madison Bagel taste, we boil our bagels before baking, which is the key to an NY-style bagel.

Our bagels are bigger and better than any local shop you’ve been to! As an independent restaurant with local ownership, we use quality ingredients that are not corporately sourced like a chain store. When we can source local ingredients, we prefer to use farm-fresh eggs, premium meats, cheeses and fresh produce. You instantly taste the difference in quality when you eat at Madison Bagel Café.
We have the largest selection of premium breakfast sandwiches anywhere; one of the most popular choices is our Mother Clucker, made with eggs, crispy fried chicken, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo. To come up with new menu creations, we pay attention to new trends and flavors in the industry.
We love food and try new places constantly for inspiration and are always looking for new creative ideas. We use quality ingredients to make our own soups, salad dressings, sauces, spreads, lox and many of our meats in-house. Our coffee is roasted and blended to our specifications and brewed to a “Gold Cup Standard.” When you taste our coffee, you will experience the care we put into every cup.

Fresh Donuts fried to order!
We make our donut batter fresh each day in store, no premade mixes for our customers! This batter is fried to order and you, our customer, select a coating, topping, and a drizzle. The fresh donut is topped to order right in front of you. When you taste our donut, you will be addicted! You have been warned.
